History
In October 1973, Washington lawyer D.C., Steven B. Epstein, and a childhood friend, New York lawyer Jeffrey H. Becker, formed "Epstein & Becker", a firm that focuses on health care law. Ronald M. Green, a New York employment lawyer and friend of Becker, realizes that health care law and labor law are "inherent synergistic practices" and, in August 1978, he joined the firm to establish employment and employment practices and his last name was added to the company name. The company was eventually incorporated and became "Epstein Becker & Green, P.C.". As size grows, the company adds capabilities in litigation, corporate services and employee benefits and establishes offices in more than 10 cities in the US.

Prostein's national policy Epstein Becker Green encourages all of his lawyers to undertake project proof bono, both on their own and through the structured pro bono opportunities that are made available by the company and through partnerships with other organizations. The pro bono's work includes children's issues, helping the homeless, community-based projects, immigration/international issues, diversity, litigation, domestic violence cases, veteran rights issues, health care policies and access issues.
