Morris A. Shenker (January 10, 1907 - August 9, 1989) was an American lawyer famous for his relationship with labor leader Jimmy Hoffa and Teamster funding in Las Vegas in the 1960s.
Shenker is a Russian Jewish immigrant who arrived at St. Louis in 1922 with limited English. He was educated at the University of Washington at St. Louis, and established the practice of law in 1932. Shenker established a reputation as a successful defense attorney, raising money for the Democratic Party and for Israel, and establishing the charity Dismas House in St. Louis. Louis.
Shenker was first a national concern during Kefauver Hearing in the early 1950s, where he represented a number of world-renowned figures. From 1962 Shenker represented Jimmy Hoffa, and in 1966 became Hoffa's primary advisor.
In 1970, Life Magazine's investigative report for a year accused him of being the head of St. Commission. Louis for Crime and Law Enforcement, along with mayor Alfonso J.
