Willie E. Gary (born July 12, 1947), is an American lawyer, motivational speaker and cable television executive. Gary has won a lawsuit against major corporations, such as Disneyland and Anheuser-Busch, on behalf of his clients through his law firm, Gary, Williams, Parenti, Finney, Lewis, McManus, Watson & Sperando, P.L.

Biography

Willie Gary was born in Eastman, Georgia where he grew up in a migrant farming community in Florida, Georgia, and Carolina. She is one of eleven children. He studied at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina and played for their soccer team. He received an athletic scholarship and became a team captain during the 1969, 1970 and 1971 seasons. He holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Shaw University; he continued at North Carolina Central University in Durham where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1974. He moved back to Stuart where he was admitted to the Florida Bar and opened the first black law firm in Martin County. Gloria, her childhood lover, now wife, helped her in this newly formed law firm.

With Gloria, she has four adult sons, Kenneth, Sekou, Ali, and Kobie. She is also the father of a daughter and a twin boy (born November 2000) by former hope of Diana Gowins. Gary pays $ 28,000 per month for child support. The order was reduced to $ 5,000 per month by Atlanta judge in 2007 after Gary alleged that Gowins mismanaged child support payments. Gowins appealed the order. Gowins is often seen in The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as he maintains close friendships with NeNe Leakes housewife.

Legal issues

On March 13, 2015, complaint, Rowe Entertainment et al. v. Willie E. Gary et al., submitted to the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Gary has won over 150 million dollar outfits, including a $ 500 million prize awarded to one of his clients in Mississippi.

Gary has two private jets, named Wings of Justice and Wings of Justice II, along with several cars, including two Rolls Royces. The lawsuit is pending in federal district court Manhattan by General Electric Capital against Gary and his company for failure of a financial loan on one of the planes.

In 1999 he founded the Black Family Channel.

Most recently, he sought legal fees of $ 22,000 per hour in connection with litigation against Motorola. A judge in Broward County, Florida has set a fee plus fee for the case at $ 22.9 million, equivalent to about $ 1,050 per hour for Gary and his company.

In October 2012, a federal judge ordered Gary's company to pay a $ 12.5 million litigation finance company.
