Jerry Crawford (born October 26, 1949) is a United States lawyer and leader in the Democratic Party of Des Moines, Iowa. Crawford also works for the Democrat Party as a fundraiser and lobbyist. Crawford has helped every Democratic presidential candidate succeed in Caucus Iowa. He has worked for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in Iowa since 2014.

Early life and education
Crawford was born into a family engaged in Iowa politics, growing up on a farm in Warren County, Iowa. share his grandfather's love with horses. According to his bio on his web page he attended Macalester College, graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 1971, then University of Iowa College of Law, obtained his law degree in 1975, after which he was accepted at the Iowa Bar.

Careers
Crawford founded Crawford & amp; Mauro Law Firm in Des Moines Iowa, and specializes in civil litigation, personal injury, sports law, racing and games. In 1976, he won the leadership of the Democratic Party of Polk District "in a landslide". He became a "State Democracy Strengthen Player, Strategist and Tactician".
Since 1980, Crawford has worked for the Democrat Party as a fundraiser and lobbyist. He has helped every Democratic presidential candidate succeed at Iowa Caucus, including John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Clinton twice, Michael Dukakis and Hillary Clinton in 2016. During Hillary Clinton in 2008, he led his Midwest campaign.
At least since 2014, he has worked for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2016 in Iowa.
Crawford's work as a lobbyist for Monsanto has been discussed in connection with his work with Clinton's campaign and lobbyist influence issues on the election.
Business activity
In 2007, Crawford founded the Iowa Energy basketball team, which he had through Iowa Basketball, LLC ever since. In 2011, Iowa Energy won the NBDL Championship.
In 2008 he founded Donegal Racing, a company that has pure horse races, some of whom have participated in the Kentucky Derby. By 2015, Donegal Keen Ice horse defeated three American Pharoah crown winners at Travers Stakes.
Crawford served as Chair of the Supervisory Board for Macalester College.
In 2014, Crawford invested in a game known as "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" which later won the Tony Award for Best Musical.
