John Phillip Feldmeier is a lawyer from the law firm of Sirkin, Kinsley, & amp; Cincinnati, Ohio; Nazzarine (spin-off from Sirkin, Pinales, & L. Schwartz LLP) now dissolved, where he trained in crime defense and first amendment litigation. He served as co-counsel for the Free Speech Coalition, along with H. Louis Sirkin and Laura A. Abrams, at Ashcroft v. The Free Speech Coalition, in which the United States Supreme Court rammed "seems to be small" and "conveyed a small impression" to the provisions of the Child Pornography Prevention Act of 1996. Feldmeier represents Beth Lewis in the Ohio Supreme Court case of a lawyer-client privilege in connection with an investigation the missing children of Erica Baker. In 2003, he testified before the US Justice Courts Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security regarding the Child Pornography Incompatibility and Prevention Act of 2003, part of the PROTECT Act of 2003. In 2007, Feldmeier wrote a comrade- short comrade on behalf of the Free Speech Coalition in the US v Williams case, whose content is the subject of much of the majority opinion and dissent.
He has also served in the past as Professor Adjunct at Miami University, where he teaches Constitutional Law, and he currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Political Science at Wright State University. He is a board member of the larger Cincinnati Crime Lawyers Bar Association and an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Biography
Feldmeier attended Groveport Madison High School in Columbus, Ohio, and after graduating, he continued his studies at Ohio Dominican University. He graduated magna cum laude in 1988 with a degree in political science.
Feldmeier received his Doctorate from Capital University Law School in 1991. While at Capital, he is a member of Delta Theta Phi's legal fraternity and also serves as a member of the Capital University Law Review. He received his Ph.D. from Miami University in 1996. After serving as a lawyer with the Ohio Ethics Commission, he joins Sirkin, Pinales, & amp; Schwartz LLP in 1997.
