Ross Spano (born July 16, 1966) is a member of the Republic of Florida House of Representatives, representing the 59th District, which includes Hillsborough County center, since 2012.

Ross Spano was born in Brandon, and graduated from Brandon High School. He then attended the University of South Florida, where he graduated with a degree in history in 1994, and the University of Law of Florida State University, received a law degree in 1998.

In 2012, after the Florida District of Florida reconfiguration House of Representatives, Spano ran in the newly created 59 District, and faced Joe Wicker, Betty Jo Tompkins, and Republican Mike Floyd. He appeared as a winner with 40% of the vote, with Wicker closing behind having 38% of the vote. Spano ran in an election against a Democrat candidate, Gail Gottlieb. Spano refused to meet with the Tampa Bay Times editorial board, which endorsed Gottlieb. The Tampa Tribune also supports Gottlieb. Spano beat Gottlieb with 51% of the vote, out front with 1,051 votes.
At Florida House of Representatives, Spano serves on the Selection and Innovation Subcommittee, the Subcommittee on Civil Justice, the Subcommittee on Health Quality, Higher Education & Subcommittee of Labor, and Judiciary Committee.
While serving in the legislature, Spano wrote the human trafficking legislation, sponsoring a bill to allow judges "to empty certain criminal convictions if the offender can prove that they are doing it under pressure," as would happen in a situation where a person has been illegally traded..
